The elements of art are the basic building blocks of art, that make your art... look like art. Or just make it look better
Even if you use just 2 elements, it could level your art up by alot!!
✦ the 7 elements ✦
- Line — straight, curved, messy, clean. Lines guide the eye and create movement.
- Shape — flat forms like circles, squares, hearts, blobs.
- Form — 3D shapes. Makes things look real and touchable.
- Color — mood, emotion, complementary, (purple and pink is the best but i respect all other colours.)
- Value — light and dark. AKA shading’s best friend.
- Texture — how something feels. Smooth, rough, fluffy, crunchy, squishy.
- Space — the area around and between things. Helps with depth and focus.

Once you understand these, you can break the rules on purpose.
That’s called having an art style!
